How would you describe your photographic style?

Composition is king. I always strive to achieve a balanced and satisfying composition to complement the space. I look for depth, and – while paying close attention to my foreground, I make sure my background is informative and interesting.

What do you enjoy most about real estate photography in your service area?

The Hamilton and Burlington area in particular have some incredible century homes with so much original character. The details, and warmth that these homes have are a ton of fun to capture. There’s always something different in each one, and finding the best way to represent them gets the creative juices flowing.

What advice would you give to someone who was selling their home in your service area?

Great photography is only possible with great preparation. Home staging is becoming increasingly popular, but simply removing personal items, making the bed, cutting the grass and dusting off that old bookcase can go a long way. We all know we’re buying the house from someone, but doing these things is allowing your potential buyer the opportunity to look at the home in its best light, and imagine themselves in it.
